Hi, I'm Dr. Samantha Wein, a Board Certified Family Medicine physician at Ascension Medical Group Livonia Family Medicine Associates in Livonia, MI.
I received my Doctorate of Human Medicine from Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine in 2017. I truly enjoy helping my patients reach their health goals. My passions include preventative care, women's health, and full-spectrum Family Medicine. Recently I was honored to receive the 2019 Resident Educator of the Year in Family Medicine award from Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine. I also enjoy teaching medical students as a faculty member for MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine.
While attending medical school, I participated in the Leadership in Medicine for the Underserved Certificate Program. The program seeks to graduate a cohort of physicians with the skills to lead efforts to address the needs of medically underserved and vulnerable populations of the US and internationally. As part of this program, I volunteered once a week at Durant-Tuuri-Mott Elementary School teaching the students about health, fitness and personal wellbeing through the Michigan Model curriculum.
